Liverpool have been rocked by news Jamie Carragher faces shoulder surgery.
The Mirror says Carragher was told he needs surgery on his shoulder, ruling him out for three months.
Carragher received the news he did not want to hear this morning and the Reds stalwart will be out until the beginning of March.
The Liverpool vice-captain will have surgery on Friday to repair the damage caused when he dislocated his shoulder in Sunday's defeat at Tottenham.
