Florence sources say Liverpool have turned to the Pole after being knocked back by AS Roma keeper Alexandre Doni last week.

Boruc is ready to leave Fiorentina this summer with Sebastien Frey now fully fit from knee surgery and set to reclaim outright No1 status.
