Liverpool are planning to table an improved offer of around £15million for Southampton full-back Nathaniel Clyne.
Liverpool had a £10million bid for Clyne rebuffed by Southampton recently but despite the setback, the Reds have not given up on their hopes of signing the defender and will look to return with an increased offer.
With Glen Johnson set to depart Anfield this summer, Liverpool are in need of a new right-back and as a result, Clyne has been seen as an ideal long-term replacement by manager Brendan Rodgers.
