Valencia have failed with a bid for Liverpool striker Iago Aspas.
The Daily Mail says Valencia made a bid to sign Aspas permanently today.
But Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has rejected the offer.
Rodgers is short of striker cover for star pair Luis Suarez and Danny Sturridge.
