Liverpool have turned down an offer from FC Basel in Switzerland for Canadian striker Liam Millar.

The 21-year-old, who played 27 times for Charlton in League One last term, is attracting the attention of several clubs.

Blackpool, Odense and New York Red Bull all want to sign the rapid attacker, per Goal.com.

The Canadian is expected to depart Liverpool as he searches for a club where he can play regular first team football.

But the bid from Basel was too low for Liverpool's liking, as the English club want at least £1 million for Millar.
