Liverpool have been told that Mohamed Salah will be treated in the exact same way as his team-mates when they travel to Qatar for the Club World Cup.
The Reds had fears that Salah's presence at December's tournament would be used for propaganda purposes after Egypt cut off diplomatic relations with Qatar in 2017 as part of a Middle East-wide blockade.
But the Daily Mail says Liverpool have been reassured that Salah, arguably Egypt's most high-profile sportsman, is safe to travel to Qatar and there will be no diplomatic ramifications.
Indeed, the club have been reassured that Salah will be treated in the same way as his team-mates when they bid for more silverware.
