Liverpool receive James Milner boost

Liverpool veteran James Milner is expected to be fit for their clash with Huddersfield Town.

The Mirror says Milner has made a lightning recovery from injury and could make the Liverpool starting line-up against Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

And in more good news for boss Jurgen Klopp, both Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk look certain to be fit, despite developing injury problems on international duty.

Reds star Milner damaged a hamstring against Manchester City 10 days ago and was expected to be sidelined until at least the end of the month.

Yet the ageless midfielder has recovered much better than anticipated, and now Anfield medics have given him the go-ahead to step up his comeback, which would offer him the chance to play against Huddersfield on Saturday.
