Liverpool put new contract talks with Wijnaldum and Mane on-hold

Liverpool have put new contract talks with Georginio Wijnaldum and Sadio Mane on-hold.

Despite their position at the top of the Premier League, the Reds have not been immune to speculation of player exits, says the Daily Star.

Mane may have scored 18 goals and made 12 assists this season but the forward has admitted he “doesn't want to stay at Anfield forever".

While Wijnaldum had been struggling for Jurgen Klopp's attention over his future.

But both players, currently in lockdown during COVID-19's spread, will have to wait for their contracts to be decided.
