Roma are pushing goalkeeper Alisson Becker to sign a new contract.
Calciomercato.com says the Brazilian shot-stopper, who has been linked with Liverpool, is asking for more than triple his current wage to stay with the Italian side.
Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are also reportedly monitoring Alisson's situation but Roma are keen to extend his stay.
Former Roma goalkeeping coach Roberto Negrisolo said last week: "Is Alisson worth €50m? Don't be silly, he's worth far more than that," Negrisolo told Il Romanista.
“I don't think many people have realised who Alisson is. This guy is a phenomenon. He is the Number One of Number Ones. He is the Messi of goalkeepers, because he has the same mentality as Messi. He is a goalkeeper who can mark an era."
Both Loris Karius and Simon Mingolet have come in for criticism at Anfield this season, sparking talk of Alisson being signed to replace one of them.
