Liverpool priced Simon Mignolet out of a move to Napoli this week.

Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina is in Naples this morning for a medical ahead of signing for Napoli.

HLN says the Azzurri's first-choice was Mignolet, but Liverpool refused to budge on their initial assessment of €12m.

Napoli wanted to take Mignolet initially on-loan, but Liverpool refused to offer any flexibility on their price.

The Belgium international's agent, Nico Vaessen, warned Liverpool about their stand earlier this week.

"We are talking, but there is no agreement yet," he said.

"It is in the interest of the club to find a solution. Liverpool wants to keep him but he must play. He deserves to evolve in a big team."
