Liverpool are reportedly ready to trigger Junior Firpo's release clause.

The Reds are on the hunt for another left-back to provide competition for Andy Robertson after letting Alberto Moreno's contract expire.

Sport says Real Betis' Firpo is viewed as the ideal replacement for Moreno.

The Spain U21 international has a release clause in his Betis contract of £45m.

It remains to be seen whether Liverpool want to spend that amount on a back-up player.
