Liverpool prepared to move for Villarreal attacker Arnaut Danjuma

Liverpool are prepared to move for Villarreal attacker Arnaut Danjuma this summer.

Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting Liverpool are “following" Villarreal Danjuma with a view to a possible move.

Jurgen Klopp could be in the market for a forward this summer, with Sadio Mane's future still up in the air. Liverpool have already rejected a £25million bid from Bayern Munich for the Senegalese international, who has 12 months left on his contract.

Liverpool have placed Benfica striker Darwin Nunez on their transfer shortlist for this summer, as they prepare for life without Mane. However, it remains to be seen if the Reds will make a move for the Uruguay international.

Danjuma is another player who has been linked with Liverpool, with various reports claiming that the player could be set to leave Villarreal this summer. Renowned transfer reporter Romano has claimed the 25-year-old could be an option for Liverpool this summer, as they search for a replacement for Mane.
