Liverpool's summer market plans are set to hinge on Mohamed Salah's contract plans.

The Sunday World says talks with his advisers are planned imminently.

There is a feeling among key figures at Liverpool that Salah may be reluctant to extend his current contract that is due to expire in 2023 and if that is the case, a sale may have to be considered this summer.

Liverpool chiefs are keen to reduce the average age of their squad over the course of the next few transfer windows, with captain Jordan Henderson among those rumoured to also be under threat.

There are reports that he is not likely to be offered a contract extension that will meet his demands with his current deal due to expire in the summer of 2023.
