Lucas Leiva could still leave Liverpool this season according to recent reports.

Italian publication Calciomercatoweb is reporting that the Reds are considering a winter swap deal involving the Brazilian midfielder and AC Milan's Jeremy Menez.

It is believed that Liverpool are still looking at offloading 28-year-old Lucas who was linked the Rossoneri, among a number of other clubs during the summer window.

28-year-old French forward Menez has popped up on the radar of the Anfield club and according to the report, could quite possibly be on his way to Merseyside in January with Lucas heading the other way to the San Siro.
