Liverpool are eyeing Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz.

The Daily Express says Liverpool have placed Fabian Ruiz at the top of their transfer wishlist and are ready to battle Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona for the Napoli ace.

Central midfielder Ruiz is contracted to Napoli until 2023, but the Serie A side are keen to tie him down to a new deal following interest from some of Europe's top clubs.

However, the 23-year-old's agent Alvaro Torres has said Ruiz won't make a decision on his future until the end of the season as he waits to see how Napoli's campaign pans out.

The club sacked Carlo Ancelotti as manager earlier this season and replaced him with Gennaro Gattuso.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has made Ruiz his top target for the summer transfer window.
