Liverpool have opened talks with Brescia for Sandro Tonali.

Gazzetta dello Sport says negotiations between the two clubs have now kicked off.

Brescia want £35m for the 18-year-old Italy international.

Just last week, Brescia president Massimo Cellino revealed the interest of the Reds.

“Yes, Roma have asked me about Tonali," Cellino said.

“I've talked about him to [Roma director] Baldissoni several times, but I want to keep the lad as long as possible. Is he ready? I don't know, he's 18.

“But Liverpool also contacted me a little while ago."
