Liverpool on track to make millions more from Brewster's Sheffield Utd move

Liverpool are on track to make more money from Rhian Brewster's move to Sheffield United.

The Liverpool Echo says Liverpool raked in £25million when they sold Brewster to Sheffield United last summer, but could go on to make even more from the forward.

Brewster is yet to score for his new side in 25 games, but regardless, Liverpool could still make a fair amount of money from him in the future.

Reds transfer chief Michael Edwards inserted a buy-back clause in the deal.

That means if Brewster rediscovers his form and becomes a target for a rival club, Liverpool could get there first and ensure any bid of their own is accepted.

As well as that, Liverpool opted to put in a 15 per-cent sell-on clause in the deal.
