Liverpool have offered Bobby Adekanye a new deal.
The Reds have offered Adekanye a new deal despite the 20-year-old winger having previously said he would not sign a new deal amid apparent interest from Italian side Lazio and former club Barcelona.
Adekanye, signed from the Catalans in 2017, hasn't featured for Liverpool's under-23 since November after making clear his stance to the club.
The Reds have made the move to protect themselves in terms of gaining compensation should the player opt to leave, says the Liverpool Echo.
As well as Adekanye, Liverpool have offered new deals to young goalkeeper Daniel Atherton, defender George Johnston, winger Abdi Sharif and midfielder Edvard Tagseth.
