Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers remains keen on Schalke defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos.

The Mirror says the Reds haven't given up hope on their pursuit of Greece international Papadopoulos, despite the player's injury problems.

Rodgers has confirmed he is still in the market for a new centre-half this summer.
