Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has backed David De Gea for success at Manchester United.
United are expected to soon wrap up a deal for the Atletico Madrid No1.
The 28-year-old, currently on holiday in Ibiza, told La Gaceta: "I very much welcome this news because David is a great keeper.
"When it becomes official he is going to start working to prove in the Premier League what a good goalkeeper who is."
