Liverpool and Newcastle United lead the race for the signature of Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

Le 10 Sport says Liverpool and Newcastle (as long as their takeover goes through) are the only two teams to still be in the race for Koulibaly.

Manchester United were thought to be interested but now have other priorities, while PSG are said to have pulled out of the race too.

Koulibaly's contract in Italy expires in just over a year, meaning the 28-year-old's price-tag could be slashed this summer.

And the Senegal international has let it be known he favours testing himself in England next season.
