Liverpool have named a full-strength squad for their Club World Cup campaign.

Fabinho and Joel Matip are the only notable omissions due to their respective injuries.

But the squad gives an indication that it will be a very young Liverpool side who face Aston Villa in the League Cup the day before their Club World Cup semi-final clash.

Promising youngsters Rhian Brewster, Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones, who have featured prominently in the League Cup up to now, are also set to travel with the senior side to the far east.

Neil Critchley will manage the Liverpool side that faces Aston Villa in the League Cup quarter-final at Villa Park on December 17.

Liverpool then play their Club World Cup semi-final on December 18, with the final scheduled three days later.
