Liverpool face having to pay the buyout clause of Real Betis defender Junior Firpo.

AS says Real Betis will reject any offer from Liverpool for Firpo this summer.

Firpo is believed to be firmly in the plans of coach Rubi ahead of the new campaign with the 22-year-old impressing last term.

Liverpool, therefore, would need to pay the £45m release clause inserted in the full-back's contract.
