Liverpool must find a buyer for Loris Karius this month.
The Liverpool Echo says Karius' last Reds appearance came in the 17/18 Champions League final against Real Madrid when he committed two howlers as Liverpool lost the final.
He has since spent two seasons on loan at Besiktas and Union Berlin respectively.
However, Liverpool may be forced to sell the German this summer, as they look to comply with registration rules.
The Reds need to shift out players to make room on their squad list for quota regulations.
