Georginio Wijnaldum insists he's never been concerned for his place after Liverpool's defeat at Cardiff City.

The Holland midfielder scored in the 2-0 triumph.

And he told Ziggo Sport: “I'm not afraid of my place. I played almost the entire season and just had some problems with my back and knee.

"It's good again. People in the Netherlands in particular made something of it again."

Wijnaldum added: “It is time for a championship again, especially from Liverpool. For Liverpool you actually have to win several titles over the years, I think."
