Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is facing three months out due to a hamstring injury.
Scans on the latest problem picked up in the 2-0 Singapore Trophy win against the Eagles have confirmed he is now expected to be out for between two to three months, says The Athletic.
Oxlade-Chamberlain went down with a hamstring injury on the stroke of half time and immediately asked to be replaced.
While on the deck, he punch the turf in frustration as he faced the prospect of another injury lay-off.
The Ox is in the final year of his contract and was desperate to impress Red boss Jurgen Klopp after falling out of favour in the second half of last season.
