Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain says Liverpool's winning mentality has them well positioned to win the Premier League title.

The Reds are eight points clear at the top after grinding yet another win against Brighton on Saturday.

And Oxlade-Chamberlain says a belief in victory permeates through the dressing room.

"I think we all feel the mindset when we go into a game is that we're going to win," he explained.

"We're going into the games expecting ourselves to win and anything else we're disappointed with.

"When you're going into games with that sort of mindset and belief it simplifies everything else. You go in there to win, you know what you need to do to win."

He added: "With this team, I have that sort of belief in us. If we're on our A-game that's how I think we should come out of games, with that belief.

"You've got to just keep going out and churning out results. That's up to us to keep that going."
