Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani is still waiting to hear from Juventus whether they will sign him permanently.
Aquilani spent this season on loan at Juventus, but the club declined to take up its option for a permanent buy and, with the arrival of Andrea Pirlo, no longer needs him.
"Antonio Conte is taking time to think things over and Aquilani wants to remain in Italy, so we are seeing what other options there are," agent Franco Zavaglia told Radio Mana Mana.
"Aquilani is certainly not Pirlo's ideal partner in midfield, as his characteristics just don't suit that role. Either they change system or have to reconsider certain ideas.
"The comforting thing is that in this season Alberto has played 36 games, so question marks over his fitness levels have disappeared. He made an impact at Juve."
