Liverpool midfielder Allan Rodrigues de Souza is back at Melwood from his loan with Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Mirror says he has returned to Liverpool after damaging his lateral collateral ligament at Eintracht Frankfurt.

The midfielder, who has made four appearances for the Eagles so far this season, missed the Bundesliga side's 3-1 victory at Augsburg after picking up the injury in training last week.

Expected to be out for six weeks, the 21-year-old will fly back to England on Wednesday to work with the Reds medical staff in order to determine the course of his treatment and recovery.
