Atletico Mineiro are set to clinch the signing of Liverpool midfielder Allan Rodrigues de Souza.

The Brazil U23 international has been starring on-loan with Fluminense, but local media sources say he will sign permanently with Atletico Mineiro this week.

A deal to 2024 has been agreed by Allan.

While a price hasn't been mentioned, Mineiro will pay 80 per cent of the fee with the remainder coming from private investors.

Allan originially joined Liverpool in 2015 from Internacional for €500,000, but he never managed a competitive appearance for the Reds due to a lack of a UK work permit.
