Liverpool manager Klopp: Svensson heart beats for Mainz

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is pleased to see Bo Svensson in charge of former club Mainz.

Klopp kicked off his management career with Mainz and believes Svensson is a positive appointment.

He told Dpa: "I was very worried about the club last season. I only saw him as a player for a year. As a person, he was already a grenade at the time. As a coach, he is a great, great talent, and so far he has delivered a unique piece of work.

"His heart beats for Mainz, and that's important. He brings the right mood back to the team."

Svensson played for Mainz from 2007 to 2014 and managed to have Klopp as coach for one year.
