Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp continuously remained in contact with Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk last season, the Mirror has claimed.
The Saints have reportedly lodged a complaint the Reds for tapping up their Dutch defender.
Van Dijk is a top summer target for the Reds, and according to the report, Klopp has left no stones unturned in convincing him to join his side in the summer.
Klopp reportedly met Van Dijk in a private meeting in Blackpool last season, and following the meeting, he kept in touch with the defender through texts.
The Saints, up until now, have maintained that they won't be selling their skipper this summer.
