Liverpool manager Klopp: Gerrard slip can now be forgotten

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes that everyone can now forget about Steven Gerrard's slip against Chelsea.

The Reds ended a run of draws and defeats at home to the Blues in a convincing 2-0 win on Sunday.

Andy Robertson slipped during the game, bringing back of the Gerrard slip in 2014 that cost Liverpool the game and ultimately the title. But Klopp thinks that memory can now remain in the past.

"At this point, we can finally close the slipping book -- Robbo slipped and nothing happened, so it's not a Liverpool thing," Klopp said after the game to reporters.

"Done. All good. I am so proud of what the boys did, and I loved, loved, loved the atmosphere -- it was outstanding what the people did.

"You could feel it, they are all on their toes, so let's try to do that seven more times and then we see what we get for it."
