Liverpool management insist record Salah contract still fits within wage ceiling

Liverpool management are insisting Mohamed Salah's club record contract still fits within their wage structure.

The new three-year deal, worth £350,000-a-week, is built on a series of clauses which will be triggered when certain goals are reached.

The Mirror says as such, Liverpool have been able to convince Salah to stay within the boundaries of their wage ceiling.

The attacker earning the full amount agreed is dependent upon success and appearances triggering various unspecified bonus clauses.

Liverpool insist that Salah being happy to accept the structured arrangement says everything about his belief in this new team manager Jurgen Klopp is building.
