Liverpool, Man Utd lead Prem scramble for Preston prodigy Felipe Rodriguez-Gentile

Several Premier League clubs, including Liverpool and Manchester United, are interested in Preston prodigy Felipe Rodriguez-Gentile.

The 16-year-old has been grabbing headlines since scoring five goals in a thumping 6-1 win over Rotherham United in the FA Youth Cup.

The striker, who only joined the club in October, has a two-year scholarship deal with Preston that starts in the summer.

However, the Mirror states that the Reds, Man United, Man City, Newcastle, and Tottenham are all assessing the starlet.

The Argentinian forward, who was born in Brazil and even has a Spanish passport, has scored 18 goals in the past 10 games he's played.

Preston may be the best place for him to make it into the first team, but if he continues such form, a move to a Premier League club may be inevitable.
