Liverpool and Manchester United are eyeing Sochaux defender Willy Kambwala.

L'Equipe says Liverpool are keeping tabs on the Sochaux centre-back, who plays for France's under-16 side.

Liverpool have recruited European youngsters in recent years, with Ki-Jana Hoever and Sepp van den Berg among those to feature in the cups.

Kambwala is the latest to pop up on their radar.

But they won't be able to complete a deal until he turns 16 in August and also face competition from Manchester United.
