Liverpool, Man City turned off by wage demands of PSG striker Mbappe

PSG striker Kylian Mbappe's wage demands is turning off the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.

The Liverpool Echo says Liverpool have been granted some breathing space in the dream pursuit of Mbappe after reports of his staggering wage at Paris Saint-Germain emerged.

One of the brightest talents in European football, fans hoped - or rather dreamt - that the World Cup winner could lured to Anfield by Jurgen Klopp during the summer transfer window.

However, that fantasy now appears to have been kicked into touch.

French striker Mbappe, who has scored an eye-catching 69 goals in just 60 starts since swapping Monaco for the French capital in 2018, is reported to earn around £600,000 per week at PSG.

It's a figure that has also seemingly put off champions elect Manchester City, underlining just how unlikely is it that Mbappe will be lighting up the Premier League any time soon.
