Liverpool are pushing hard to sign Lens prospect Modibo Sagnan.

France Football says Liverpool have had a second attempt to sign young defender Sagnan from Lens rebuffed.

Liverpool have been pushing this year to sign 19-year-old centre-half Sagnan from Ligue 2Lens.

The Reds had already tried for the player in January but were rejected and their advances this summer have again been turned down.

Six foot two inch Sagnan has spent his entire career with Lens.
