Liverpool have moved for Lyon left-back Aly Cissokho.
The People says Liverpool are going for Cissokho after being frustrated in their bid to land Newcastle United's Jose Enrique.
Liverpool have now moved Cissokho to the top of their wanted list, with Celtic's Emilio Izaguirre behind him.
Cissokho, 23, has suitors across Europe, with Bayern Munich - who are also keen on Enrique - and Juventus keeping tabs, too.
