Liverpool lodge €25M bid for Bayer Leverkusen keeper Bernd Leno

Liverpool have jumped into the battle for Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

BILD says Liverpool are readying a €25m move for Leno.

Jurgen Klopp is said to have been priced out of a move for both Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak and Roma's Alisson - with the German a decent cut-price alternative.

The Bayer Leverkusen man has been told he can leave after the German club signed his replacement.

And now Liverpool have jumped into pole position - the Reds have put €25m on the table for Leno.

The keeper was said to be interesting Arsenal - while Napoli want to take him to Italy.
