Liverpool loanee Kent determined for positive Rangers spell

Liverpool loanee Ryan Kent is looking forward to his season with Rangers.

The 21-year-old completed his move to the Scottish giants on Sunday.

He will work under Liverpool legend Steven Gerard and former Reds' coach Michael Beale at Ibrox.

Kent is hopeful of making an impact after unsatisfactory loan spells at Freiburg and Bristol City last season.

"Last season was a disappointing year. I made my debut against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena [for Freiburg] and was involved in a promotion chase with Bristol City, so I did take a lot away from last season," Kent said.

"On a personal level, I would like to get a lot of game time this year. I think I have to prove a lot of people wrong from last season, and it is a chance to add numbers to my game - so to get a lot of assists and goals.

"I want to get back to enjoying my football again."
