Liverpool legend Graeme Souness is seeking an assured performance against West Ham tonight.

After a shaky display against Leicester at Anfield, Souness admitted he is concerned by the club's latest showing.

"Slightly nervous, conceding three goals against Palace and then I know people are joking about it but when you're attacking you want a fast pitch," he said on Sky Sports for his view on Liverpool's title hopes.

"The pitch the other night was a slow pitch which suited you defensively.

"Then saying that, Liverpool defensively looked vulnerable.

"They weren't the same going forward but they weren't the same at the back.

"A slightly nervy feel with 14 games left, I hope it was just a one off."
