Liverpool legend Ian Rush is confident they can keep hold of Mohamed Salah.

Rush believes Liverpool are capable of convincing Salah to resist any offer from Real Madrid.

He told the Liverpool Echo: “Everyone will be looking at him.

“But at the end of the day I think it's a bit different than Coutinho. For South Americans their dream is most probably Barcelona or Real Madrid.

“With Salah being Egyptian we have to make Liverpool his home. He wants to play for Liverpool, the fans love him, he's performing for the supporters. We've got to make sure he's here for many many years."
