Liverpool legend Mark Lawrenson insists Brendan Rodgers' team are the best in the country - despite their FA Cup defeat at Arsenal. Lawrenson wrote in the Mirror: "Liverpool may have lost yesterday but Arsene Wenger will know they were by far the better side.
"Brendan Rodgers' men were denied a stonewall penalty by referee Howard Webb, but I don't think Brendan will lose that much sleep over it.
"He will have seen from that performance that Liverpool are the most exciting team to watch in the country right now.
"Suarez, Sturridge, Coutinho and Sterling are just sensational. They look as though they can score at any moment.
"Is there a better attack to watch in the Premier League at the minute? Not for me."
