Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler says Jurgen Klopp will have taken positives in the aftermath of defeat at Manchester City.
Fowler wrote for the Mirror: "I'm not sure too many people picked up on it at the Etihad this week, but what struck me was just how ballistic City went when they won.
"I can tell you now, Jurgen Klopp noticed. And he'll be using it to inspire and motivate his players in the title race from here on in.
"I know it was a huge game, and a huge win for City. When you win like that it means so much, but the scenes at the end were still remarkable.
"To see possibly the best team in world football celebrate with such relief was telling.
"Liverpool lost, but Klopp will be urging them to take massive confidence from the fact that a side as big as City reacted like when beating them. He will be saying 'that's how good we are now'."
