Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish insists Brendan Rodgers will get it right at Anfield.

The Reds have struggled to find their top form over the last few games and are undoubtedly missing the influence of Luis Suarez.

But Dalglish said: "When you step up in class and you meet good opposition or you're playing extra games because of your success that's a learning curve.

"It's a learning curve for some of the players who have come in and it's a learning curve for Brendan [Rodgers], he's not been in Europe before.

"They'll take a bit of time to settle down but what they did last year they've been rewarded for.

"They've just got to kick on again this year and I'm sure they'll get it right.

"They got it right last year and came so close, I'm sure they'll do the same this year."
