Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish has spoken of being turned down by Roy Keane while Blackburn Rovers manager.

Then Nottingham Forest midfielder Keane chose Manchester United ahead of Rovers.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Dalglish admits he told the United legend: "You've made a bad move."

Now able to laugh at his poor prediction about one of the most successful players in United history, he added: "The next time I saw him, he'd won about three championships, the European Cup.

"I said to him 'I told you I had made a mistake!'

"Let's be honest, at that stage of Blackburn's history, where would go if it was Manchester United or Blackburn?"
