Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher blew a fuse after their dismal 2-0 home defeat to Everton on Saturday.
Carragher was livid with the result, claiming that Liverpool must stop using the long-term injury of defender Virgil van Dijk as an excuse.
Speaking during his commentary duties on Sky Sports, Carragher said: "Liverpool have been so poor, they have got everything deserved.
"They can't keep saying 'Virgil van Dijk is out'. I'm sick of saying it myself."
Graeme Souness, speaking after the match, added: "They're a shadow of their former selves. They're an easy touch.
"2-0 doesn't flatter Everton. They deserved to win it. In all the areas that really matter, they were better than Liverpool."
