Liverpool legend John Barnes has urged Chelsea to cut ties with Eden Hazard.

Hazard has scored 16 goals and laid on 13 assists in the Premier League this season, spearheading Chelsea to their top four bid.

The Belgian has constantly flirted with a move away to Real Madrid in the summer, however, causing speculation over his future.

“I think they need to get away from Eden Hazard," Barnes told beIN SPORT.

“I think Liverpool, when Coutinho left, they were a much better team.

“I think Hazard influences the team so much that anywhere he goes you have to give him the ball.

“They've got good players and they can't show their worth."
