Liverpool legend John Barnes believes the club should make a move for centre-back Caglar Soyuncu.

The Turkish international has been a revelation with Leicester City this season.

He has seamlessly taken over from Harry Maguire, who moved to Manchester United, and helped the club to a Champions League position in the league.

And Barnes thinks that Soyuncu would be a great signing for Liverpool.

"Soyuncu would fit in well at any club," Barnes told GentingBet.

"He's taken the role of centre-back at Leicester by the scruff of the neck and he's really improved and given something extra as well as he's good on the ball.

"If Leicester did want to sell, Soyuncu could go to any of the top clubs."
